Any 14-18 year old who is working as a Young Leader with a unit can work towards
their Young Leaders Qualification. Details of this can be found on the Senior Section
CDROM, but your District Commissioners should have details or be able to get them
for you if asked! Completing the Young Leaders Qualification is not difficult and
I expect many of you will find that you have done most of it just by being part of
weekly meetings, working with your leaders and the girls in your unit.
For example you have to organise and lead an activity - I’m sure you all do this!!
Also completing the Young Leaders Qualification means that if you decide to do your
Adult Leadership scheme once you are 18 you will not have to do the whole scheme
as some of your Young Leaders Qualification can be used - Bonus!!
